Mrs Shereen Peter


My name is Shereen Peter and I am the Finance Manager at the Accounting Standards Board where I have been employed from May 2021.

My role encompasses the Full Finance Function ensuring smooth operations for the Accounting Standards Board. I am responsible for the preparation of all reporting and procurement processes to ensure that governance is adhered to at all times.

I hold a BCom Accounting degree from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal and a Management Accounting module at UNISA. I have more than 20 years of Finance experience both at an Operational and Management level. My experience is predominantly in the media industry where I served my last employer for just over 19 years and have obtained unqualified audits during my tenure.

I am highly skilled in Finance, Debtors and Credit Management as well as Payroll. I have a comprehensive knowledge of processes, Systems and policies in these areas, as well as sales revenue and inventory management experience.
