As the Board of the ASB prepares to meet on 30 September 2025, here are the key items on the agenda that you can expect to see soon:
- Reporting framework 2026/27
The Board will approve the reporting framework for 2026/27 as an annexure to Directive 5 on Determining the GRAP Reporting Framework. The reporting framework will remain unchanged from 2025/26.
- Exposure Draft on Improvements to Standards of GRAP, 2026
The Exposure Draft proposes minor amendments to Standards of GRAP to align with international improvements and respond to local issues needing minor clarification.
- Exposure Draft on Amendments to GRAP 109 Accounting by Principals and Agents
The Exposure Draft responds to the key issue with principal-agent arrangements, which is identifying whether an arrangement meets the definition of such arrangements. Although the principles remain unchanged, guidance is added to help stakeholders better understand and apply the requirements.
