ASB publishes ED 209 on Amendments to consider IFRIC Interpretations in IPSAS

ED 209 is an IPSASB Exposure Draft, published concurrently by the ASB. The ED is exposed locally to ensure that local stakeholders are informed of and can contribute to the IPSASB process.

This ED includes five IFRIC and SIC Interpretations that were not previously reviewed by the IPSASB to determine their relevance to the public sector. The ED proposes incorporating guidance from these Interpretations into IPSAS based on the IPSASB’s assessment that the public sector might encounter similar issues.

ED 209 can be accessed on the ASB website along with other materials for concurrent exposure draft.
