FAQs on the Standards of GRAP

The FAQs on the Standards of GRAP were updated in February 2024. A new FAQ 3.19 was added on What is harvested produce in the case of living animals?

The FAQ explains that agricultural produce is the harvested produce of living animals. When determining the harvested produce, reference is made to the point of harvest. This assessment is unique and specific to each entity’s particular circumstances. It is important for an entity to be clear in its accounting policy on how it has made this assessment.

Examples of agricultural produce from living animals can be milk, wool, carcasses and its weaned offspring.
