Upcoming Accounting Standards Board meeting

The Accounting Standards Board meets on 28 September 2023.

The key items on the agenda are:

• Reporting Framework 2024/25: The Board will consider the GRAP Reporting Framework for 2024/25 for approval. Communication material will be published with the amendments to Directive 5 on Determining the GRAP Reporting Framework.
• Improvements to the Standards of GRAP, 2023: The Board will review the comments on Improvements to the Standards of GRAP (2023) (ED 201) and the IGRAP on Foreign Currency Transactions and Advance Consideration (ED 202). If considered appropriate, they will be approved as final pronouncements.
• Project briefs for new projects: In accordance with the 2024 to 2026 work programme, the following projects will be initiated in the 2024/25 period. The Board will consider the following project briefs for approval:
  • Measurement – developing changes to the guidance on measurement of assets and liabilities in the Conceptual Framework and a Standard of GRAP on
  • A review of GRAP 20 on Related Party Disclosures.
