What is on the IPSASB’s agenda for the June meeting?

The IPSASB will meet in Toronto from 10 to 13 June 2025. The agenda includes:

The IPSASB will discuss remaining issues from the following public consultations and approve the final pronouncements:

• Measurement – application phase
• IPSAS 33 First Time Application of Accrual-based IPSAS – limited scope update

• Presentation of financial statements: The IPSASB will continue to consider public sector presentation options for the statement of financial performance.
• Improvements to IPSAS, 2026: The IPSASB will discuss the improvements that should be included in the ED that is under development.
• The IPSASB will discuss the responses received from stakeholders on the following EDs and consider proposals to respond to issues raised:
  • Tangible natural resources
  • Sustainability – Climate-related disclosures
• Mid-period work program consultation: The IPSASB will consider the issues that should be discussed in the consultation.

The IPSASB will consider the issues raised with and considered by the Group in the quarter. This will be a standing item on the agenda going forward.
